Blood Donation Camp at Sadar Hospital, Ranchi; 102 Units of Blood Collected
A special blood donation camp was organized at Sadar Hospital in Ranchi for children suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia and Thalassemia. Doctors, healthcare workers, nurses, students, and staff members participated enthusiastically in the camp, voluntarily donating blood. A total of 102 units of blood were collected, which will aid in the treatment of children in need. The objective of the program was to ensure a regular supply of blood for children battling these serious diseases and to raise awareness about blood donation among the general public. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ranju Sinha described blood donation as the greatest means of saving lives. Meanwhile, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Bimlesh Singh expressed his gratitude to all the blood donors.
