Raised voice for tribal rights in Assam, gave message of unity: Hemant Soren

Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren attended an awareness rally held at the Magicajan Tea Estate in Biswanath Chariali, Assam. The event was organized by the Adivasi Student Union of Assam, Jari Shakti, and the Adivasi Council of Assam. Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister said that the tribal community in Assam is the backbone of the country's tea industry, yet they have not fully received their rights. He said that the tribal community must fight unitedly to protect their existence and identity. Citing the example of the Jharkhand statehood movement, Soren said that rights are achieved only after a long struggle. He called on the tribal community to become intellectually strong and fight legally for constitutional rights.
