Prohibitory Orders Imposed in Ranchi for NEET-PG 2026 Examination
Ranchi, August 25, 2026: In view of the NEET-PG 2026 examination scheduled to be held on August 30, Ranchi district administration has imposed prohibitory orders within a 200-metre radius of four examination centres to ensure the smooth, peaceful and malpractice-free conduct of the examination.
The prohibitory orders will remain effective from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM on August 30, 2026.
The order has been issued by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Ranchi, under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). The administration has expressed apprehension that anti-social elements may gather near the examination centres and attempt to disrupt law and order.
During the period of the order, assembly of five or more persons, use of loudspeakers, carrying firearms or other weapons, and organising meetings or public gatherings will be prohibited within the specified 200-metre radius. Government officials and employees engaged in official duties, government programmes and funeral processions have been exempted.

4. Oxford Public School, Old H.B. Road, Pragati Path, Ranchi
The district administration has appealed to candidates and the general public to cooperate with the authorities and follow the prohibitory orders to ensure the peaceful conduct of the NEET-PG examination.
