Jharkhand State Bar Council Elections: Voting for 23 posts on March 12, 100 candidates in the fray
Ranchi: Preparations for the Jharkhand State Bar Council elections have intensified. Advocates across the state will elect their representatives on March 12. This time, approximately 100 candidates are contesting for the 23 council positions, including 25 women. A total of 25,001 advocates are registered as voters, and preparations for voting have been completed at all district bar associations. The election will employ a preference-based voting system. Voters must write "One" against their first preferred candidate on the ballot paper, while indicating their preference by writing "Two, Three, Four," etc. against other candidates. Voting in numeric or using any identification mark may render the vote invalid.
