Chamber Discusses Empowering Women Entrepreneurship
Ranchi: The Women Entrepreneurship Subcommittee of the Federation of Jharkhand Chambers of Commerce and Industries met at the Chamber building on Monday. More than 25 women and young entrepreneurs participated in the meeting and discussed promoting businesses related to arts, crafts, and handicrafts.
Committee Chairperson Aastha Kiran stated that Jharkhand's traditional arts, culture, and handicrafts have immense potential, which can be furthered by providing the right platform and market. She stated that skill-based workshops will be regularly organized to develop the skills of women and youth.
Speakers at the meeting, including Praveen Karmakar, Sohini Rai, Malay Kumar, and Archana Srivastava, emphasized the need for collective efforts to gain national and international recognition for artists and artisans.
