Ranchi:BJP State Spokesperson Shobha Yadav accused the Hemant Soren government of failing to provide adequate training and employment opportunities to Jharkhand’s youth under the Mukhyamantri Sarathi Yojana. She questioned the scheme’s implementation and demanded transparency regarding training centres and job placements.
Yadav cited departmental figures reporting that around 5.25 lakh youths received skill training, while approximately 2.25 lakh were reportedly provided employment. She also questioned the utilisation of the ₹585 crore allocated to the Skill Development Mission for 2026–27.
She demanded a white paper detailing training, placements, unemployment allowances and expenditure under the scheme, along with the reopening of disrupted training centres and effective measures to improve job opportunities.
