Women's livelihood empowerment gains a new platform in Mandar
The Livelihood Justice Counseling Center, the Single Facility Center, and the Mandar Livelihood Women's Complex Organization office were inaugurated today in Mandar block of Ranchi district. Addressing the event, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Deepika Pandey Singh said that the state government is continuously making planned efforts to empower rural women.
Under the OSF project, 115 women entrepreneurs associated with Sakhi Mandal were provided with CEF funds of ₹59.72 lakh and livelihood resources were distributed. A message of social equality and awareness was conveyed through the Gender Pledge. Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, and Cooperation Minister Shilpi Neha Tirkey described women-centric schemes as a strong foundation for rural development. Administrative officials, women from self-help groups, and a large number of villagers attended the event.
