Ranchi: During the National Road Safety Month, the Ranchi Traffic Police distributed a total of 150 helmets among the general public to increase awareness. People were informed that wearing a helmet is not just a legal requirement, but a life-saving shield, and it must be worn while riding a two-wheeler.
The Traffic Police emphasized that this initiative aims to encourage citizens to follow road safety rules, rather than focusing on punishment, so that everyone can stay safe.
The program was conducted under the supervision of the Superintendent of Police (Traffic), Senior Deputy Superintendent/Deputy Superintendent, and the Traffic Police Station In-charge.
At the end, the Ranchi Traffic Police appealed to all citizens to always wear a helmet while riding two-wheelers for their own safety and the safety of their families.
