SAIL Bags Eight Prestigious PRSI National Awards for Communication Excellence

(SAIL), the public sector steel producer, has been honoured with eight prestigious national awards by the (PRSI). The awards were presented during the 47th All India Public Relations Conference held in Dehradun from December 13 to 15, 2025.
The recognition highlights SAIL’s excellence in corporate communication, particularly its innovative use of advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and its strong alignment with national development goals.
SAIL received top honours across multiple categories, reflecting its comprehensive and forward-looking communication strategy. The awards include Best Advertising Campaign using AI for its impactful advertisement during the Women’s World Cup 2025, and Best Use of AI in a PR Campaign for its pioneering AI-driven news bulletin, AI SAILTrack. The company was also recognised for its Corporate Website for superior user experience and accessibility of information.
In addition, SAIL won accolades for Most Impressive Event Management for the successful execution of its exhibition at India Steel–2025, and for its contribution under the Make in India initiative in the Defence Sector, promoting indigenous manufacturing for national security. The in-house audio-visual e-news bulletin ‘SAILTrack’ earned recognition in the E-Newsletter category.
Further, SAIL was awarded Best Communication Campaign (Internal Publics) for the ‘AI & U’ competition, designed to engage employees with emerging technologies, and for excellence in creative design and layout of its Corporate Sustainability Report 2023–24 under the Sustainable Development Report category.
Congratulating the communication team, SAIL Chairman said that stakeholder engagement must consistently reflect clarity of purpose, alignment with organisational values, and a deep understanding of strategic priorities. He emphasised that the integration of AI-powered tools in both internal and external communication not only demonstrates adoption of advanced technology but also the organisation’s ability to transform vision into impactful communication. He added that leveraging innovation will help strengthen communication standards, raise benchmarks, and contribute meaningfully to SAIL’s long-term growth and success.
The multiple national recognitions reaffirm SAIL’s position as a benchmark organisation in professional communication within India’s public sector landscape.
