📰 Babulal Marandi Launches Big Attack on Hemant Government - "Compensation Decided by Political Gain"
🚨 Questioning the Compensation Policy and Alleging Government is Running on High Court's Assurance
Ranchi: Babulal Marandi, the Jharkhand BJP State President and Leader of the Opposition, has launched a major attack on the Hemant Soren-led Jharkhand government. He accused the state government of determining compensation based on "political gain," not on the basis of people's suffering and disaster.
Mr. Marandi expressed sorrow, stating that "it is sad that in our Jharkhand, compensation is now being given not by looking at suffering and disaster, but by looking at political advantage."
* He alleged that due to this policy, the government does not pay attention to the families rendered homeless in the severe cold.
* He pointed out that during the removal of encroachment on RIMS land, the suffering of the people whose homes were demolished was visible to everyone, except the government.
* According to him, no one came to offer them even consolation, let alone compensation.
🏛️ Government Running on High Court's Assurance!
Babulal Marandi raised serious questions about the state government's working style, saying the way the government is operating suggests that "everything is running on the assurance of the High Court."
* He stated that for every decision, big or small, people have to take recourse to the High Court to ensure smooth action.
* He claimed that the government even tries to postpone the orders of the High Court, whether it is the case of the PESA Act or the RIMS encroachment matter.
* Marandi alleged that due to the insensitivity of the Hemant government, people had to knock on the court's door for relief, so that they whose homes were ruined do not suffer the punishment for the corruption and collusion of government officials.
⚖️ Welcoming High Court's Decision and Demand
The Leader of the Opposition welcomed the recent High Court decision and demanded swift action from the government.
* He said that as per the High Court's order, action should be taken against the then Circle Officer, the officer who sanctioned the map, officials of the Ranchi Municipal Corporation's Building Plan Approval Section, all government employees, builders, and property dealers involved in the irregularity and failing in supervision and control.
* His demand is that the fine for compensation should be recovered from those very builders and officials who were complicit in this irregularity.
Finally, Mr. Marandi expressed the only expectation from the state government: that it should not create any hindrance in this investigation and action.
