Around 700 participants from all 24 districts of the state participated in this competition. Participants showcased their talent in 12 different art forms, including music, singing, dance, instrumental music, visual arts, traditional storytelling, and drama.
At the inauguration of the program, Chief Guest Ajay Nath Shahdev, President of the Jharkhand State Cricket Association, Dhirsen A. Soreng, State Program Officer of the Education Project Council, and other guests were welcomed with a plant, a shawl, and a memento.
On the occasion, Ajay Nath Shahdev said that people associated with art and culture are always happy because art boosts children's self-confidence and paves the way for personality development.
Encourage children towards art and culture: Director
State Project Director Shashi Ranjan said that if children have an interest in art and culture, they should be encouraged. He stated that the new education policy places special emphasis on children's creative development, and the department is striving to provide opportunities for talented children in government schools through art platforms.
At the event, Padmashree Madhu Mansuri Hansmukh said that the life of a person who is not connected to art and culture is like a void. Art instills sensitivity and creativity in a person's life. Jharkhand Press Club President Surendra Soren also shared his views.
State Program Officer Dhirasen A. Soreng said that art is not just a play of colors; it is the language of the human soul. Future artists, musicians, and dancers are hidden within all of you participants. Your hard work and dedication will define Jharkhand and enhance the state's pride.

The program was attended by Deputy Directors of JCERT, Pradeep Kumar Choubey, Vindhyachal Pandey, Assistant Directors Bake Bihari Singh, Masoodi Tudu, and Manpuran Nayak, along with artists, teachers, and officials from across the state.
These children were selected
Winners were selected in various competitions. In the storytelling group competition, Pooja Kumari (Deoghar) won first place, followed by Rajanandini Kumari and Ricky Kumari (Chatra) and Bushra Tahur and Tanu Kumari (Ranchi) in third place. In the visual arts sculpture competition, Dev Kumar (Seraikela) won first place, Piyali Mahato (East Singhbhum) won second place, and Prince Kumar (Hazaribagh) won third place. In the visual arts painting competition, Satyam (Deoghar) won first place, Nafisa Parveen (Hazaribagh) won second place, and Badal Nayak (Simdega) won third place. In the indigenous toy making competition, the first prize was bagged by Chandrama Singh and Karan Shahu (Simdega), second by Rishi Kumar Nayak (Ramgarh) and third by Divya Kumari and Simran Kumari (Hazaribagh) among others.
Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Education Secretary Umashankar Singh, Director Jharkhand Education Project Council Shashi Ranjan have also congratulated for organising the art festival.
