Minister Deepika Pandey Singh Holds Meeting with Congress Workers in Mahagama, Issues Directions on SIR and Voter List Matters
Mahagama, August 26, 2026: Jharkhand Rural Development, Rural Works and Panchayati Raj Minister and Mahagama MLA Deepika Pandey Singh held a meeting with Congress workers at the Block Congress Office in Mahagama on Wednesday. Various important issues related to the constituency were discussed during the meeting. The minister also heard the problems raised by local residents and party workers and issued necessary directions for their resolution.
Special discussion was held on notices issued under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and matters related to the voter list. Minister Deepika Pandey Singh directed party workers to provide all necessary assistance to people who have received notices under the SIR process.
She said every effort must be made to ensure that the name of any eligible voter is not removed from the voter list and that the democratic rights of every citizen are protected.
The minister asked party workers to remain active in their respective areas and provide people with necessary information and assistance regarding the SIR process and voter list. She stressed that every eligible voter’s name must remain secure on the voter list and no person should be deprived of the right to vote.
The meeting also discussed strengthening the party organisation, regional public issues and other matters related to public welfare. Deepika Pandey Singh called upon party workers to remain continuously connected with the people, raise their problems on priority and coordinate with the concerned authorities for their resolution.
The meeting was attended by Godda District Congress President Md. Yahya Siddiqui, Godda District Congress Mahila President Aarti Kumari, Mahagama Block Congress President Minhaj Alam, 20-Point Programme Committee Chairman Firoz Akhtar, Mahagama Municipal Vice-President Nilesh Kumar Singh, along with several Congress workers.
