DC issues instructions for action on complaints raised at Janta Darbar

 

Jharkhand/Palamu: Deputy Commissioner Samira S. held a Janta Darbar at the Collectorate on Wednesday to hear people's grievances. People from various blocks of the district presented their concerns to the DC. The Deputy Commissioner forwarded copies of the applications to the concerned department officials on the spot and directed them to ensure prompt and impartial action within 15 days.

Shashikant Yadav, a resident of Panki, submitted an application regarding the Principal of Mazdoor Kisan Inter College's failure to collect contributions and the non-disbursement of grants for the financial years 2023-24 and 2024-25. Pinky Devi stated in her application that Santosh Gupta has been attempting to illegally occupy her land for the past 14 months. She requested that the SDO's office appoint a magistrate and initiate demarcation. It stated that Santosh Gupta is in illegal possession. Despite the demarcation, no notice was issued to his opponent.

Ashok Saav, who came from Gadi Khas, submitted an application regarding non-receipt of compensation for land acquired on NH 75/39. Pratima Devi of Hussainabad complained about some villagers usurping government land. At the Janta Darbar, a retired Panchayat Secretary requested the payment of his MACP benefits.

More than 10 women from various areas submitted applications regarding non-receipt of funds under the Chief Minister's Maiya Samman Yojana. All applications were sent to Social Security for verification.

Applications related to land disputes, blocking of public roads, PM housing being given to ineligible beneficiaries, mutation, revenue, health, supply, drinking water, education, and welfare departments were submitted at the Janta Darbar.
