Jharkhand/Ranchi: A fire broke out in the data center of Jharkhand Police Headquarters located in Dhurva, Ranchi on Tuesday morning. The fire broke out in the development room built right above the data center, due to which the wire cables and other equipment kept there were burnt. As soon as the news of the fire was received, the fire brigade team immediately reached the spot and controlled the fire before it spread.
In the initial investigation, the cause of the fire is being told to be a short circuit. 40 computers and 10 ACs have been completely burnt due to the fire in the data center. Other damages could not be assessed. Many important documents are also reported to have been burnt.
