Ranchi: This prohibitory order will remain from 10.00 am on 06 May 2025 to 04 June 2025 (60 days) or till the next order whichever is earlier applicable.
SDO said that according to the information received, it is reported that some organizations / parties are holding dharna, demonstration, procession, rally etc. In recent times, instead of the previously scheduled venue, Zakir Hussain Park, these programs are also being held at the Raj Bhavan main gate, Chief Minister's residence, Kanke Road. The possibility of disruption of government work, disruption of traffic system, law and order problems and disturbance of public peace cannot be ruled out due to such programs. Regarding which, Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, Ranchi, Shri Utkarsh Kumar has issued prohibitory orders under Ranchi Sadar Sub-Division using the powers conferred under Section 163 of BNSS.
Within a radius of 100 meters from the boundary wall of Chief Minister's residence, Kanke Road.
Within a radius of 100 meters from the boundary wall of Raj Bhavan (excluding Zakir Hussain Park).
Within a radius of 100 meters from the boundary wall of Jharkhand High Court.
Within 500 meters of the boundary wall of the new Vidhan Sabha.
Within 100 meters of the Project Bhawan, Nepal House, building.
Within 200 meters of the Project Bhawan, H.E.C. Dhurva, building.
Organizing any type of dharna, demonstration, siege, procession, rally or public meeting without prior permission of competent authority. Except for officers / employees engaged in government work and court work and religious and funeral programs).
Going out or walking with any type of arms and ammunition, such as gun, rifle, revolver, pistol, bomb, gunpowder etc. (Except for officers / employees engaged in government work).
Going out or walking with any type of sharp weapons such as lathi-danda, arrow-bow, axe-spear etc. (Except for officers / employees engaged in government work).
Using any type of loudspeaker without prior permission of competent authority. (Except officers/employees engaged in government work).
This order will not apply to any government officer or force.
