Courtesy meeting of Jharkhand Chamber with Lok Sabha Speaker
Ranchi: During the visit of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to Ranchi, a delegation of Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries led by President Paresh Gattani made a courtesy call at Raj Bhavan. During the meeting, positive talks were held on the issues of business and industrial development of the state.
Chamber President Paresh Gattani shared his views on the need for policy support to promote investment in the state, the need for infrastructure for business and industrial development and the role of the Chamber in the economic development of the state and also submitted a detailed memorandum to the Lok Sabha Speaker.
The memorandum mainly includes the demand to develop a national level dialogue facility for the industrial development of the state, to cooperate in special central assistance packages to improve infrastructure and promote industrial diversification, to encourage the establishment of skill development centers as per the requirements of the industry and to facilitate the establishment of other major industrial units including steel plant, defense and railway manufacturing in the state.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla sympathetically considered all the points suggested by the Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and assured all possible cooperation. He also agreed to the Chamber President's request to extend train no. 12825 Ranchi Anand Vihar Terminal Express to Jaipur. The Chamber President said that extending this train to Jaipur would prove useful for the migrant Rajasthanis and pilgrims going to Rajasthan.
General Secretary Aditya Malhotra said that this meeting is expected to give a new direction to the business and industrial development of the state. Chamber President Paresh Gattani, Vice President Jyoti Kumari, General Secretary Aditya Malhotra, Joint Secretary Navjot Alang, Treasurer Rohit Agarwal, Executive Member Ram Bangad, Sanjay Akhouri, Sunil Saraogi, Sahitya Pawan, Mukesh Agarwal, Shailesh Agarwal, Naveen Agarwal, Aastha Kiran, former President Pawan Sharma and member Shashank Bhardwaj were present on the occasion.
