Ranchi, October 9, 2026: The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has intensified preparations for the upcoming Durga Puja festival to ensure a clean, safe, organised and convenient environment for devotees and city residents. Officials and staff from the corporation's zonal offices are regularly inspecting puja pandals and coordinating with puja committees to review arrangements and address local requirements. The initiative covers areas under Bada Talab, Pandra, Bandhgari, Dhurwa, Doranda and Tupudana zones, where officials are maintaining continuous contact with organisers to identify problems and ensure timely action.
The corporation is reviewing essential arrangements, including cleanliness, street lighting, drain cleaning, slab placement, stone dust availability and tree trimming. Special emphasis is being placed on gathering feedback from puja committees and coordinating with the concerned departments to resolve issues promptly. The Ranchi Municipal Corporation has directed all zonal offices to remain active and maintain regular communication with the committees to ensure better civic facilities for devotees arriving from within and outside the city.
