Ranchi, October 9, 2026: A tribute programme was organised at the Assembly Club House in Ranchi on the sixth death anniversary of Ram Vilas Paswan, founder of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Padma Vibhushan awardee, and a prominent voice for the deprived, underprivileged and economically weaker sections of society.
On the occasion, floral tributes were offered to the portraits of Late Ram Vilas Paswan and Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar. The participants remembered Paswan's lifelong contribution to social justice, equality, public service and the protection of the rights of the poor. They said that his ideals and struggles continue to inspire society. They also emphasised that fulfilling his unfinished dreams and ensuring justice and development reach the last person in society would be the true tribute to his legacy.
The programme was attended by Vikas Ranjan, popularly known as Pappu Singh, Principal General Secretary of the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), Jharkhand unit, along with members of the state executive committee, leaders and office-bearers of various state wings, and specially invited members. The participants pledged to follow the ideals of Late Ram Vilas Paswan and carry forward his vision of social justice and equality.
