Ninety Nine Centers Join DLSA Yoga Campaign; 25,000 People Practice Yoga via Google Meet

Ranchi: The second and final day of the two-day yoga training camp, organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Ranchi, in preparation for the 12th International Yoga Day, concluded in an atmosphere of great enthusiasm. On this occasion, approximately 25,000 people from 99 centers—including jails, observation homes, old-age homes, and PLV (Para-Legal Volunteer) centers—participated in yoga practice via Google Meet.

Lead yoga instructor Panchanan Singh initiated the training session with a prayer. Subsequently, participants were guided through *Sukshma Vyayam* (subtle exercises), various *Yogasanas* (postures), *Pranayama* (breathing exercises), and meditation. He remarked that yoga is not merely a means to maintain physical health but a powerful path to connect with oneself, society, nature, and the entire world. Yoga fosters balance, discipline, and positivity in life.

During the session, information regarding the physical and mental benefits of various *asanas* was also shared. Panchanan Singh stated that yoga is a discipline of experience and self-development that strengthens an individual from within and inspires a stress-free life.

Rakesh Raushan, Secretary of DLSA Ranchi, noted that yoga provides mental peace, self-confidence, and energy. He urged all participants to incorporate yoga into their daily lives.

The program concluded with the recitation of the peace mantra, "Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah, Sarve Santu Niramayah" (May all be happy; may all be free from illness), followed by a yoga pledge that marked the end of the two-day training camp.

It is noteworthy that the practice and experience gained during this training camp will be utilized in the International Yoga Day programs scheduled for June 21. By bringing thousands of people together through yoga, this initiative by the DLSA conveyed a message of building a healthy and conscious society.
