No Voter Will Be Left Out Now: Election Department Intensifies Preparations
List of Unmapped Voters to be Displayed at Every Booth on May 23: K. Ravi Kumar
Ranchi: The Election Department in Jharkhand has become fully active regarding the special intensive revision campaign for the voter list. Chief Electoral Officer K. Ravi Kumar held an online review meeting with all District Election Officers and issued directives to ensure the publication of the list of "unmapped voters" at all polling stations across the state on May 23.
During the meeting, preparations, training, and other arrangements for the upcoming voter list revision program were reviewed in detail. The Election Commission of India is set to launch the special intensive revision campaign starting June 20, while the tasks of training, printing, and other preliminary preparations will be completed between June 20 and June 29.
Issuing clear instructions to the officials, K. Ravi Kumar emphasized that not a single eligible Indian citizen should be left out of the voter list. He stated that missing voters must be added to the list by exercising special vigilance and conducting public outreach campaigns at the booth level.
According to the Election Department, the list of unmapped voters will remain displayed at polling stations for the next two weeks. During this period, voters will be able to contact their respective Booth Level Officers (BLOs) to verify and map their entries.
Present at the meeting via online mode were Additional Chief Electoral Officer Subodh Kumar, Training Nodal Officer Dev Das Datta, Deputy Election Officer Dheeraj Kumar Thakur, and Sub-Election Officer Sunil Kumar, along with the District Election Officers from all districts.
