CM Takes Strict Stance on Severe Heat: No Leniency in Drinking Water, Electricity, and Health Services
Ranchi, May 4 — Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a meeting via video conferencing with all Deputy Commissioners and senior officials to review the rising temperatures across the state. He issued directives ensuring that the general public faces no shortage of drinking water, and that all water sources are regularly monitored to facilitate the immediate resolution of any issues.
The CM ordered prompt action regarding disruptions in power supply and transformer malfunctions, and instructed the Health Department to ensure the availability of medicines, ORS, and essential resources in hospitals to effectively tackle the heatwave.
He directed officials to conduct field visits, hold public hearings, and ensure the immediate resolution of ground-level issues. The Chief Minister emphasized that relief can be provided to the people only through effective administrative coordination and promptness.
