While issuing directives to officials during the meeting, the Chief Minister emphasized that no form of negligence in crime control would be tolerated and instructed the police administration to function with utmost vigilance and proactiveness.

The Chief Minister specifically directed that strict action be taken against the illicit trade of narcotics. He stated that a concerted campaign must be launched to dismantle the drug supply chain, and that rigorous legal action must be ensured against criminals involved in their purchase and sale. Directives were also issued to maintain special surveillance in schools, colleges, and areas frequented by the youth.

During the meeting, the Chief Minister directed that special vigilance be exercised in the districts of Khunti, Chatra, and Ranchi to curb opium cultivation within the state. Advising police officials to establish better coordination with the public, he directed that Superintendents of Police (SPs), Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), and Station House Officers (SHOs) should regularly interact with the people and ensure the prompt resolution of their grievances. Emphasis was also placed on increasing surprise inspections in rural areas.
