Giving the Gift of Life Through Blood Donation: JSLPS Organizes Successful Camp in Lohardaga, Collecting 28 Units of Blood
On April 17, 2026, the Palash—Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS)—successfully organized a one-day blood donation camp at the DMMU office in Lohardaga. The objective of the camp was to ensure the availability of blood for needy patients and to raise awareness among the public regarding blood donation. Officials, community cadres, women from Self-Help Groups, and local citizens participated enthusiastically in the event. A total of 42 individuals registered for the camp; of these, 28 participants were found eligible to donate blood, and all of them voluntarily donated. A team from the Health Department collected the blood in strict adherence to necessary medical screenings and safety protocols. All blood donors were honored with mementos.
