Deepika Pandey Singh Attacks BJP in Assam; Calls for Change Backed by Congress's Guarantees
Doomdooma (Assam): Addressing public meetings in Doomdooma in connection with the Assam Assembly elections, Jharkhand Cabinet Minister Deepika Pandey Singh launched a scathing attack on the BJP and the Central Government. She asserted that the BJP's politics remain confined solely to rhetoric and propaganda, while the problems faced by tea garden workers, the youth, and the general public remain unchanged. She further accused Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma of corruption and abuse of power.
Highlighting the Congress party's guarantees, Singh stated that the party is reaching out to the public with a firm resolve to convert 10 lakh land allotments into permanent land titles, provide financial assistance of ₹50,000 to women, and offer free healthcare facilities worth up to ₹25 lakh. She asserted that a change in Assam is inevitable.
