In Namkum, under the aegis of the Maharaja Madra Munda Memorial Committee, a statue of Madra Munda was unveiled near the Mahavir Temple located in the Namkum market area. The program commenced with traditional rituals and worship conducted by a *Pahan* (tribal priest). Subsequently, the statue was jointly unveiled by cutting the ceremonial ribbon by the President of the Kendriya Sarna Samiti, Bablu Munda—along with other guests including Ashok Munda, Aarti Kujur, and Satish Paul Munjani. The guests highlighted the life, struggles, and contributions of Madra Munda. On this occasion, amidst the rhythmic beats of drums and *nagara*, the people celebrated with festive fervor, applied *gulal* (colored powder), and set off fireworks.
