Jharkhand Police Receives Fleet of 1,485 Modern Vehicles; Foundation Laid for 12 New Police Stations
Ranchi: With the objective of further strengthening law and order in the state, Chief Minister Hemant Soren, during an event held at the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly complex on Friday, handed over a fleet of 1,485 modern vehicles to the Jharkhand Police and virtually laid the foundation stone for 12 new police stations to be established across various districts of the state. On this occasion, he also distributed appointment letters to candidates selected across various categories.
The Chief Minister stated that, for the first time since the formation of the state, modern vehicles are being provided to the police in such large numbers—an initiative that will lead to significant improvements in police patrolling systems, rapid response capabilities, and surveillance capacity. He added that the state government is making continuous efforts towards the modernization of the police force. The event was attended by Assembly Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto, Minister Radhakrishna Kishore, Dr. Irfan Ansari, along with several other public representatives and officials.
