Grand Alliance Protests Against LPG Shortage and High Petrol-Diesel Prices; Minister Deepika Pandey Singh Corners Central Government
Ranchi: Parties belonging to the Grand Alliance staged a protest outside the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly against the shortage of LPG and the rising prices of petrol and diesel. State Minister Deepika Pandey Singh also joined the demonstration during the event. She stated that the nationwide shortage of LPG is causing distress not only to the general public but also to traders who rely on commercial cylinders. The Minister alleged that the Central Government has capitulated to international pressure, and the repercussions of this are being borne by the people of the country. She further remarked that the government is engaging solely in the politics of slogans, thereby diverting attention away from real issues. The Minister demanded that the Central Government normalize the supply of LPG and bring the escalating prices of petrol and diesel under control.
