Ranchi: On the directions of JHALSA Executive Chairman Sujit Narayan Prasad and as per the order of the Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi Civil Court, the Secretary of the District Legal Services Authority (DALSA), Ranchi, formed a team to ensure proper care and protection of the rescued children.
The DALSA Secretary met the children and their families, understood their problems, and initiated necessary steps for their welfare. Required documents were prepared to facilitate the making of Aadhaar cards. Coordination was also done with the Child Welfare Committee (CWC) to arrange health check-ups for the children and to link them with various government welfare schemes.
It was informed that the children are currently studying at an Anganwadi due to poverty. To ensure better education, they will be connected to the Sponsorship Scheme. Along with this, DALSA will also arrange counselling support for the children.
The DALSA Secretary also counselled the parents and advised them to take proper care of the children. People present were informed that in case of any incident or if legal assistance is needed, they can call the helpline number 15100 or visit the DALSA office for support.
