In mutation (land record update) cases, people are still being compelled to make repeated visits to the circle office.
When MBharat 24 News LIVE raised questions and sought details about up to which serial number cases have been disposed of, the circle officer did not provide any clear information and declined to share the details.
Local residents say that if cases are genuinely being resolved according to serial numbers, then the updated status and list should be made public. This would ensure transparency and save applicants from unnecessary harassment. Due to the lack of clear information, dissatisfaction among the public is steadily increasing.
