Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tarachand chaired a review meeting on revenue-related matters with all concerned officials at the Collectorate conference hall on Friday. During the meeting, he directed all district-level departments and circle officers to ensure complete recovery of the revenue targets for the current financial year within the remaining months.
The Deputy Commissioner reviewed revenue collection from departments including Mining, Transport, Excise, Commercial Taxes, Canal Division, Electricity, Municipal Council and Registration. He also reviewed cases related to mutation, suo-motu mutation, succession mutation, land demarcation, offline mutation, matters pending on the e-Revenue Court and Rectification Portal, land ownership certificates, land requisition by various departments, caste, residential and income certificates, and public land encroachment.
Dr. Tarachand instructed officials to expedite the disposal of all pending cases and ensure timely delivery of services to the public. He emphasized that any laxity in revenue administration would not be tolerated.
The meeting was attended by Additional Collector Jitendra Munda, Sub-Divisional Officer Amit Kumar, District Transport Officer Jai Sankhi Murmu, Mining Officer Raja Ram Prasad, Excise Superintendent Anil Sharma, along with other district-level officers, all Circle Officers and concerned officials.
