Minister Hafizul Hasan Pays Tribute to Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Highlights Key Departmental Achievements

On the occasion of Jharkhand Foundation Day and the birth anniversary of Dharti Aba Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Minister Hafizul Hasan paid floral tribute at Birsa Munda’s statue and offered his respects. The minister described the day as one of pride and unity for the people of Jharkhand.
During the event, various assets were distributed among beneficiaries, marking the government’s continued commitment to public welfare. The minister said that this day reminds everyone to work together and contribute towards making Jharkhand more prosperous and distinguished.
Key Announcements and Departmental Achievements
Marking the completion of 25 years of Jharkhand’s foundation, Minister Hasan shared major initiatives and achievements of his department:
- A 4-star Hotel Baidyanath Vihar will be constructed in PPP mode at a cost of Rs 113 crore.
- Under the Marang Gomke Overseas Scholarship Scheme:
- Three students will benefit in FY 2024–25
- Three students in FY 2025–26
- Total: Six beneficiaries
- For Minority Hostel Construction:
- 55 approvals were granted in FY 2024–25
- So far, a total of 111 projects have been sanctioned.
