Jharkhand/Ranchi: BJP's Scheduled Tribe Morcha National President and former Rajya Sabha member Samir Oraon strongly criticized the Mamata Banerjee government in West Bengal. Oraon stated that power-supported hooliganism is rampant under the Mamata Banerjee government. He stated that not only the public but even public representatives are not safe. Everyone, especially the common man, is frightened and distressed. Sisters and daughters are unsafe.
He issued a press release on Monday stating that heavy rains in the tribal areas of West Bengal have devastated normal life. Tea plantations in areas like Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri, and Siliguri, among other places, have suffered significant devastation. As a public representative, Malda MP Khagen Murmu was on his way to share the public's grief. He was attacked by TMC goons near Nagda Kata. He escaped with his life only by God's grace.
He stated that jungle raj prevails throughout Bengal. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, intoxicated with power, is nurturing thugs. Oraon demanded a high-level investigation into the attack on the MP and harsh punishment for the perpetrators.
