Jharkhand/Khunti (H.S.): Tapkara police station arrested two youths with four notes of five hundred rupees from Tapkara weekly market on Saturday. Both the youths Mo Sheikh and Mo Saim Ansari were trying to buy goods with fake notes. When the shopkeeper found the notes to be fake, he immediately informed the Tapkara police station.
As soon as the information was received, Tapkara police station in-charge Nitesh Kumar Gupta promptly caught both the youths red-handed. During the search, a total of four fake notes of five hundred rupees each were recovered from them, while as soon as the police reached, both of them tore four notes, but the police also seized the torn pieces. At present, the police is interrogating the accused. The police is investigating who are the people who gave the fake notes to the two youths. The police said on Sunday that a thorough investigation is being conducted to find out from where the youths got the fake notes and who are the people active behind this.
SP Manish Toppo said that prima facie this case seems to be connected to a big gang. The police is investigating this matter. After the incident, shopkeepers in the market have become very cautious.
