Three criminals from the Rahul Dubey gang arrested, two pistols and seven live bullets recovered



Jharkhand/Ramgarh: Police have arrested three notorious criminals from the Rahul Dubey gang, who were terrorizing the Bhurkunda area of ​​the district. Two pistols, seven live bullets, and three mobile phones were recovered from them. This information was given by Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar during a press conference on Thursday. He stated that the arrested criminals include Tushar Mishra alias Soumya Mishra alias Mishra, a resident of Mishra Tola, Ranchi Road, Marar; Manglesh Kumar alias Manglesh, a resident of Bada Jamua under the Barwada police station area of ​​Dhanbad district; and Mukesh Kumar alias Muku, a resident of Mahungai Kala village under the Barkagaon police station area of ​​Hazaribagh district.

Fired at Central Sound and RA Mining Site

The Superintendent of Police stated that these notorious criminals from the Rahul Dubey gang fired shots at two different locations on August 18 and August 29. They opened fire at the RA Mining site in Bhurkunda with the intention of extorting money and spreading terror. Subsequently, indiscriminate firing was carried out at Pappu Jain's site at the Central Saunda Bhurkunda CCL Railway Siding to create panic. Following this incident, an SIT was formed under the leadership of Patratu SDPO Gaurav Goswami.

Criminals Caught Planning in Hotel

The SP received intelligence that active members of the Rahul Dubey gang were staying at a hotel in Kothar, Ramgarh, with the intention of carrying out a major incident. Police immediately raided the site and arrested Tushar, Manglesh, and Mukesh. The arrested criminals were interrogated and the pistols used in both incidents were recovered. Police also recovered seven live bullets and a pistol magazine.

Criminals were also planning to open fire in Mahua Tungri, Kuju

SP Ajay Kumar stated that the criminals of the Rahul Dubey gang were planning to open fire in Mahua Tungri, Kuju OP area. They used to call traders, contractors, and workers and extort money. They received direct instructions from Rahul Dubey. Even Rahul Dubey used to give them all the instructions about when to call which person.

The SP said that all the officers and soldiers involved in the raiding team will be honored with a certificate. They will also receive an award.

The raiding team included Patratu SDPO Gaurav Goswami, Patratu Inspector Satyendra Kumar, Patratu Police Station in-charge Shivlal Gupta, Bhurkunda OP in-charge Nirbhay Kumar Gupta, Bhadani Nagar OP in-charge Akhtar Ali, Barkakana OP in-charge Umashankar Verma, Basal Police Station in-charge Kailash Kumar, Kunal Kumar of Bhurkunda OP, Mantu Kumar Sharma of Ramgarh Police Station, Pradeep Kumar Rajak of Patratu Police Station and Mohammad Naushad of the Technical Cell.
