Sangram Club Durga Puja Committee is building the pandal of the ancient temple

Jharkhand/Ranchi: Preparations for Durga Puja are in full swing in the entire state including the capital Ranchi. One after the other puja pandals are being built for the puja.

In this sequence, Sangram Club Durga Puja Committee located at Kachhari Chowk is going to present a wonderful confluence of tradition and cultural dignity this year. This year the pandal is being built in the style of ancient Indian temple. The architecture of the pandal is inspired by the Lingaraj and Konark temples of Odisha. Inside the pandal, there will be a darshan of the grand court of Maa Durga. There will be a design of a traditional palace on the walls. The ceilings will be ornamental which will fill the interior of the pandal with more divinity. The idol of Maa Durga will also be attractive. Eco-friendly materials have been used in the construction of the pandal.

Sangram Club's Executive President Neeraj Verma said on Wednesday that Rs 6.5 lakh will be spent on the puja pandal. Light and sound will cost Rs 2 lakh and puja and other expenses will cost Rs 4 lakh and Rs 1.5 lakh will be spent on the idol. The total expenditure will be around 15 lakh rupees.

He said that CCTV cameras and volunteers will be deployed for security. On Saptami, the doors of the pandal will be opened for all the devotees.

The pandal will be 55 feet high

It will be 50 feet wide while the idol of Maa Durga will be 12 feet tall.
