Jai Ma Kali Committee's pandal conveys the message of respect for mothers

Jharkhand/Hazaribagh: The pandal of the Jai Ma Kali Durga Puja Committee in the city's Kalibari has become a major attraction this year due to its unique theme.

This year, the committee has decorated the pandal with the respect for mothers and their important role in society at its core. The pandal conveys the message of how a mother nurtures a child in her womb for nine months, from conception to birth, and how she continues to nurture it despite difficult economic and social circumstances. Despite this, children often neglect their mothers as they grow up. This emotional message has been vividly presented through the statues and artistic decorations. Committee President Anand Dev explained that just as the nine forms of the mother are worshipped during Navratri, a mother also carries a child in her womb for nine months and then gives birth. This theme was specifically designed to teach young people that respecting and serving their mothers is their greatest duty in every situation of life.

The women who visited the pandal were also impressed by this initiative. They said that this message should reach every section of society so that no mother is forced to go to an old age home. On Saptami, Deputy Commissioner Shashi Prakash Singh and Superintendent of Police Anjani Anjan also visited the pandal and performed puja. They praised the committee's theme and the message being conveyed through it.

On the occasion of Durga Puja, pandals with such social messages in Hazaribagh are awakening new thinking in people. These pandals are inspiring people to fulfill their duties towards their parents, especially their mothers.
