Durga Puja committees will get full support of the government: Chief Minister

 

Jharkhand/Ranchi: A joint delegation of Mahanagar Durga Puja Committee, District Durga Puja Committee and Shri Mahavir Mandal Ranchi met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday at the Chief Minister's residential office at Kanke Road Ranchi. On this occasion, the members of the delegation discussed in detail the preparations for the upcoming Durgaotsav-2025 in front of the Chief Minister.

The members of the delegation unanimously said before the Chief Minister that under your leadership, all the Durga Puja committees are getting full support of the state government and the district administration. The members informed the Chief Minister that during Durga Puja, electricity supply, water supply and cleanliness of the city has been done regularly. Like every year, this year also Durgaotsav is being organized in about 157 puja pandals, including small and big, in Ranchi and surrounding areas and preparations for all the puja pandals are in full swing.

The members of the delegation urged the Chief Minister that like before, this year also the puja committees have high expectations of support from the state government. The members of the Puja Committee honoured the Chief Minister by presenting him with the idol of Maa Durga, a dupatta and a shawl and invited him to visit the Puja pandals with his family to have darshan of Maa Durga.

The Chief Minister assured the members of the delegation that all Durga Puja committees will get full support of the state government this year as before. He said that keeping in mind the various points of Durga festival, the members of the district administration and the Puja organizing committee should hold a meeting and ensure that the Puja is conducted in a peaceful and harmonious environment by making better coordination and synergy. He also extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the members of the delegation on Durga Puja.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to developing Ranchi as a model city while taking care of the facilities of the general public. The government is continuously moving forward with full capacity with a special action plan on all aspects of making Ranchi beautiful and clean. The state government thinks that new links should be continuously added in the development of cities. He said that in the coming time, along with public facilities, every effort will be made by the state government to give a different identity to Ranchi city. In the all-round development of the city, the participation of the common people along with the government is also important.

On this occasion, Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri, DIG-cum-Senior Superintendent of Police Chandan Kumar Sinha, Mahanagar Durga Puja Committee President Dr. Ajit Sahay, District Durga Puja Committee President Vicky Yadav, Mahavir Mandal President Jai Singh Yadav, HEC Durga Puja Committee Patron Sagar Kumar along with Ashok Chaudhary, Pradeep Rai Babu, Ravindra Verma, Shambhu Singh, Sameer Singh and others were present.
