Land owner murdered after making an agreement

 

Ranchi: Ranchi police has solved the mystery of the murder of elderly Bandhana Oraon by hitting him with a stone six days ago in Bandhalata Tongri of Ratu police station area of ​​the district. Land brokers have got the criminals to commit the murder by promising them a contract of Rs 6 lakh. Police have arrested four criminals including the land broker.

   The arrested accused include Chhotu Kachhap, Aghanu Munda alias Aghanu Nagduwar of Ratu, Aman Lakra alias Anish Oraon alias Lambu and Kailash Oraon of Lohardaga. Revealing the case, Rural SP Praveen Pushkar said that on the evening of May 31, Bandhana Oraon (65 years) left home saying that he was going to Bandhalata Tongri to meet his Magina Somra Oraon. When he did not return home till late night, the family searched for him. But, he could not be found.

   Body was recovered from Bandhalta village on the morning of June 1. An FIR was lodged at Ratu police station on the statement of his wife. A team was formed under the leadership of DSP Headquarters 2 Arvind Kumar to uncover the case. The formed team arrested all the criminals on Wednesday on the basis of mobile location and call details. During interrogation, the accused have confessed their crime before the police.

   The rural SP said that Bandhana Oraon has a land in Ratu area. Chhotu Kachhap and Adhanu Munda did a deal for one and a half acres of land. In return, Bandhana Oraon was given Rs 2.30 lakh. An agreement was also made between the two. It was said that the remaining amount would be paid later. But, without paying the amount, both of them started work on that land, which Bandhana Oraon stopped. They said that until the remaining amount is not paid, they will not let the work be done. After this, the accused Chhotu and Adhanu made a plan to eliminate Badhana Oraon. For this, criminals Aman and Kailash, residents of Bijwali in Lohardaga, were contacted. They promised to give six lakh rupees for the murder. Chotu gave ten thousand rupees to both of them as advance. He said that the remaining amount will be given after the work is done.

   Accused Chotu called everyone to his house on the night of 31st May and held a meeting. During this time, Chotu called Bandhana to his house. There was a conversation between the two. While returning from Chotu's house, the criminals stopped Bandhana near Bandhlata village. After strangulating her, they killed her by hitting her with a stone. After committing this crime, all the criminals fled from the spot. Rural SP said that Aman is a notorious criminal. Cases including murder, robbery are registered against him in Puso, Sisai, Mandara and Kudu police stations of Lohardaga. He has also gone to jail many times.
