“Women Who Have Received Maiyan Samman Yojana Funds Up to March 2026 Do Not Require Verification” — CO Ghanshyam Kumar
Ranchi: Jharkhand’s ‘Maiyan Samman Yojana’ has truly become the heartbeat of the state’s women. Yet, hundreds of women associated with this scheme remain deprived of its financial benefits to this day, for one reason or another. Faced with the issue of non-receipt of funds, women are continuously visiting the Circle Office to undergo verification procedures.
A similar situation is unfolding at the Hehal Circle Office in Ranchi, where hundreds of women arrive daily to complete the verification process required to receive their Maiyan Samman Yojana funds. Despite the scorching heat, crowds of women continue to throng the Circle Office.
In this regard, Ghanshyam Kumar, the Circle Officer (CO) of the Hehal Circle, spoke to a correspondent from *M Bharat 24 News Live* and stated that women who have already received the Maiyan Samman Yojana funds up to March 2026 do not require any form of verification.
He clarified that only those women whose payments are currently on hold need to undergo verification. Furthermore, he appealed to the women to complete their verification at their nearest Anganwadi centers—rather than visiting the Circle Office amidst the intense heat—to avoid facing unnecessary inconvenience.
