Order on encroachment in Pandara Bazaar Committee was given in 2025, still questions on action
Ranchi: The matter of alleged encroachment in Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Pandara for years is once again in the news. Amid complaints of encroachment by many traders in the market committee area, questions are now being raised on the administrative action and its progress.
According to the information, the list of encroaching traders is available with the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) office. The then Sub-Divisional Officer issued letter number 5206 on July 25, 2025, directing Hehal Circle Officer to take necessary action on the basis of the list.
According to sources, in the light of that instruction, Hehal Circle Officer Ghanshyam Kumar had also written a letter to the Secretary of Agricultural Produce Market Committee, Ranchi, seeking necessary action and reply.
To know the current status of this matter, M Bharat 24 News Live correspondent talked to Ranchi Sub-Divisional Officer Kumar Rajat. On this, SDO Kumar Rajat said that this matter was before his posting in Ranchi and at present he does not have detailed information about it.
He said, “Something clear can be said only by taking cognizance of the matter. It will take some time to understand the entire episode, only then I will be able to tell something.”
Here, questions are being raised continuously regarding encroachment in the market committee area. There is discussion among the local people and business circles that as soon as the talk of action on encroachment becomes louder, the secretary of the market committee changes, due to which the process of action gets cooled down.
Now the big question is that when the list had been prepared, administrative orders had been issued and correspondence had also been done, then why was no action seen on the ground?
This matter of encroachment in Pandara Bazaar Committee is no longer limited to just the administrative process, but it is also raising many serious questions regarding the working style of the government system and the pressure of influential businessmen.
