The DLSA team apprised the villagers about "Project Tripti," an initiative operated by the Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority. The PLVs explained that this scheme was launched with the specific aim of preventing deaths caused by hunger and starvation, thereby ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the most vulnerable sections of society.
Furthermore, the program served to raise public awareness by providing legal information regarding issues such as child marriage, child labor, substance abuse eradication, witch-hunting (Dain-Bisahi), and the National Lok Adalat. Information was also disseminated regarding the 10 specific schemes formulated by NALSA (National Legal Services Authority) and the procedural steps required to avail of free legal services.
The PLVs also provided detailed explanations regarding old-age pensions, labor registration cards, and the various benefits associated with them. Additionally, pamphlets and leaflets were distributed among the villagers to provide information regarding the upcoming National Lok Adalat, scheduled to be held on September 12th.
