Amidst the scorching heat, District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Mahant Nath Bhajantri conducted a surprise inspection of the Bero block on Tuesday. He reviewed the functioning of administrative offices, clinics, health centers, and various tourism facilities.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner issued strict directives regarding water supply, electricity distribution, and health services. At the health centers, instructions were given to ensure a 24x7 supply of essential medicines and to maintain adequate stocks specifically for addressing heatwave-related ailments.
In the Kashmar area, the Deputy Commissioner inspected hand pumps, wells, and other water sources, issuing orders to repair any dysfunctional facilities. Furthermore, officials were directed to interact directly with the general public to ensure the immediate resolution of their grievances.
He emphasized that, during this period of intense heat, no citizen should face any hardship due to a lack of access to water, electricity, or healthcare facilities.
