Azim Premji Foundation CEO Meets Chief Minister Hemant Soren
Ranchi: On Thursday, Anurag Behar, CEO of the Azim Premji Foundation, paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Hemant Soren at the Chief Minister's Residential Office located on Kanke Road. During the meeting, detailed discussions were held between the Chief Minister and the Foundation's representatives regarding the progress of the Azim Premji Medical University—currently under construction in Ranchi—as well as the associated 1,000-bed medical college and hospital, and school projects.
The meeting also featured constructive deliberations on working collaboratively in the state within the sectors of education, health, and nutrition. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of advancing effective initiatives and public-welfare schemes in these areas.
Also present on the occasion were Rakesh Tiwari, the Foundation's Head for Jharkhand, and Kailash Kandpal, the Project Head.
