Review of Flyover Projects in Ranchi: Chief Minister Emphasizes Traffic Improvement
On Monday, Hemant Soren reviewed key projects of the Road Construction Department at the Jharkhand Secretariat. During the session, officials delivered a PowerPoint presentation detailing the progress of the connecting flyover project linking Siramtoli to Kantatoli.
Conducting a point-by-point review of the project, the Chief Minister issued clear directives to expedite the land acquisition process and accelerate construction work. He stated that this flyover would play a pivotal role in alleviating traffic congestion in Ranchi.
The meeting also featured a detailed discussion regarding the proposed flyover construction plan extending from Karam Toli to Science City (Chiraundi). The Chief Minister issued several necessary guidelines to officials concerning this project, emphasizing its time-bound implementation.
Furthermore, to enhance Ranchi city's traffic management system, the Chief Minister directed that unnecessary cuts in road dividers be closed off. He affirmed that providing smooth and safe transportation for the general public remains a top priority for the government.
Several officials attended the meeting, including Sunil Kumar (Principal Secretary, Road Construction Department), Praveen Jayant Bhengra (Engineer-in-Chief), Vijay Ranjan (Chief Engineer, CDO), and Vikram Pratap Singh (Deputy Secretary, Management).
