Promoting Talent in Lohardaga: National Cyclist Pushpa Receives Track Bicycle
Lohardaga, April 17, 2026: The District Administration has undertaken a commendable initiative to encourage sporting talent. Deputy Commissioner Dr. Tarachand presented a track bicycle to national-level cyclist Pushpa Kumari under the CSR fund. Speaking on the occasion, he remarked that there is no dearth of talent in the district, and the administration remains committed to providing better facilities to athletes. Pushpa Kumari has represented both the district and the state in numerous national competitions. She is set to participate in a cycling competition scheduled to be held in Uttarakhand starting April 29. Representatives from Hindalco, coaches, parents, and other dignitaries were present at the event.
