Disarray at Pandara Market Committee's Administrative Building; Operations Hampered by Power Crisis
Ranchi correspondent for M Bharat 24 News Live: A severe lack of basic amenities has come to light at the administrative building of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee located in Pandara. Despite collecting approximately ₹28 lakh in rent every month, the facility lacks the necessary infrastructure for employees to work efficiently.
According to information obtained from sources, all office operations grind to a halt the moment the power goes out. Computers shut down, and biometric attendance machines cease to function. The primary reason for this disruption is the complete absence of a power backup system. The generator installed in the building has been out of order for several months, while no provisions have been made for an inverter.
The situation has become even more critical with the onset of summer. When the power fails, the fans stop working, making it extremely difficult for employees to sit and work inside the office. Consequently, both employee morale and productivity are being adversely affected.
Addressing the matter, Sadhan Kumar, Market Secretary of the Agricultural Produce Market Committee (Pandara, Ranchi), stated that there are currently no arrangements in place for power backup. He acknowledged that the generator is non-functional and that no inverter facility is available.
