Major Decision by Auto Drivers: Fare List Temporarily Suspended; Operations to Halt on April 15
A meeting of the Jharkhand State CNG Auto Drivers' Federation was held at the E.F. Ground in Ranchi, attended by drivers operating on the Tati Silver–Kanta Toli route. The meeting was presided over by State President Dinesh Soni. It was decided that the new fare list would not be released until a consensus is reached among all drivers. The next meeting is scheduled for April 15, on which day auto operations will remain suspended from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The drivers also resolved to lodge a complaint at the police station regarding instances of illegal extortion. Additionally, objections were raised concerning bus operations. On the same day, route officials will be elected, and a course of action will be determined to address and resolve these issues.
