Jharkhand Shines at Asian Championships; Deputy Commissioner Meets Athletes
Ranchi: Athletes from Jharkhand who delivered outstanding performances at the Asian Championships paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri.
Led by Dr. Madhukant Pathak, the delegation comprising Dinesh Kumar, Reshma Kumari, and Basanti Kumari met with the Deputy Commissioner. Congratulating the athletes on their success, the Deputy Commissioner wished them a bright future and assured them of every possible support.
In the competition held in Delhi, Dinesh Kumar won two gold medals, Reshma Kumari secured one silver and one bronze, while Basanti Kumari won a gold medal in the Under-25 category.
