Constitution-Maker Ambedkar: A Visionary of Equality and Justice — Sanjay Sarraf
Sanjay Sarraf—Vice President of Hindi Sahitya Bharati and Provincial Spokesperson for the Jharkhand Parents Association—stated that Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar was not merely the architect of the Constitution, but a visionary of social justice and equality. He noted that his birth anniversary, observed on April 14th, provides us with an opportunity to reflect upon his struggles, thoughts, and principles. Wielding education as a weapon, Ambedkar waged a lifelong battle against the caste-based discrimination prevalent in society and worked tirelessly to secure rights for the marginalized sections. The Indian Constitution, framed under his leadership, endowed the nation with a democratic, egalitarian, and just system. He also made significant contributions toward upholding the rights of women, laborers, and vulnerable sections of society. Sarraf asserted that Ambedkar's ideals remain relevant to this day, and that following the path he charted would constitute the truest tribute to him.
