High Alert in Ranchi Ahead of Festivals; Directives Issued to Tighten Security Arrangements
A crucial meeting was held in Ranchi, presided over by the Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Magistrate, to ensure the peaceful observance of the upcoming festivals of Eid, Sarhul, and Ram Navami. During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on adhering to the directives issued by Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The Senior Superintendent of Police directed all subordinate officers to ensure the deployment of additional police forces in sensitive and crowded areas. Furthermore, instructions were issued to physically verify the routes designated for processions and ceremonial marches, as well as to maintain strict vigilance over social media and digital platforms. Several senior officials from the police and administrative departments attended the meeting, where strong emphasis was laid on working in close coordination.
